About Dr. Christopher Walinski

Christopher J. Walinski, DDS is an author, educator, inventor and innovator in laser dentistry. His scientific research has been published in over 25 prestigious peer-reviewed journals and his 2003 textbook on laser dentistry has been re-published in more than ten languages. Dr. Walinski focuses on minimally-invasive laser surgery and research, is Visiting Professor at several international dental schools, and most recently, has been invited to be a consultant at the Westchester (NY) Medical Center Department of Pediatric Oncology as a subject matter expert in laser photobiomodulation to treat the side-effects of cancer treatment.

Most recently, Chris(topher) can be seen on the popular FOX cooking show "MasterChef" where he was featured as a Top 20 contestant. Episodes are available On Demand, on Hulu, or on YouTube.

Chris was a Founder and is the current Executive Director of the World Clinical Laser Institute, from which he has been awarded Mastership status. He is also the Executive Director of Zen Dentistry Education, which provides advanced training to other dentists in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, implants and laser assisted surgery. He is also the Executive Director of the International Dental Laser Research Institute, and is a Founding member of the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health. 

Dr. Walinski is a Diplomate and Past-President of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. He is a proud member of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society, and his Fellowships include the International College of Dentists, The Royal Society of Medicine, The International Association for Laser Dentistry and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery.

Personally, Dr. Walinski founded the non-profit organization 1000 Cranes Project for prostate cancer education and awareness. He actively provides blogs, videos and resources to help those with prostate cancer improve their lives and their health on his web site www.theprostatesite.com.
